Growing Old Gracefully

When finally I forget my youthful dreams and grow into an old man
I lose a part of me I barely knew
So unaware, so fearless
I faced the world back then
Now I walk with trepidation
Fearing for my health, my wieght, my sanity
Jumping off slides and turning pratfalls once
Sitting tamely at my computer in thought
I think too much
